ORIGINS RAID TO NATIONAL CITROEN RALLY 2019

Ian Moore (Canterbury branch) warmly invites you to register for the pre-tour “origins raid” to the 2019 National Rally.
Itinerary
Day 1 Monday
Start with meet and greet at Southwards Car Museum, where you can visit the museum or have a coffee from 9 AM. We will depart carpark at 10am – Travel north to Hawera (approx 230km)
Visit Stuart Craigs car collection in Manaia
Accommodation – Hawera Holiday Park, 70 Waihi Road, Hawera.

Day 2 Tuesday
Hawera to National Park via the “Forgotten Highway” (approx 200km)

Day 3 Wednesday
National Park to Napier via “Gentle Annie” (approx 220km).

Day 4 Thursday
Napier to Rotorua via “Te Urewera” (approx 330km).

Day 5 Friday
Rotorua to Cambridge via Forest roads (approx 130km).
Accommodation – Participants to make own arrangements
Additional Information:
- Participants can join the raid at Wellington, Hawera, National Park or Napier (please indicate below what day you are joining the raid)
- We will be stopping for picnic lunches and tea breaks along the routes, please bring chairs
- Night meals will be at own discretion, except on day 2 National Park, when we will have a BBQ tea. BYO food and drink to the BBQ, this can be purchased in Taumaranui beforehand.
- Rally Booklet will be provided prior to or when you join the raid. There will be a small charge for stationary.
