It’s 2026, and once again the Wellington Vintage Car Club is hosting the Daffodils Motor Show at Brewtown, Upper Hutt.  This is our annual fundraiser for the Wellington branch of the NZ Cancer Society –

The date is Saturday 22 August, 10am to 1pm.  (We will be there for early arrivals from 8am.)

There’s no real differences for 2026 from the successful formula for this event that has evolved over the past few years.   Cancer Society, we are more or less repeating what we did then.  So…

The venue is again Brewtown in central Upper Hutt.  No matter the weather, we are safe and sound under the awnings of Brewtown’s large exhibition area.

Entry is $20 per vehicle and remember, all proceeds to the Wellington Cancer Society who, you’ll be pleased to know, see this event as a major event on their annual fundraising calendar.  And that success comes from you, the clubs who attend to make it the colourful and enjoyable show that it is.

If you’ve not taken part before, our Daffodils Motor Show is a display of a huge mix of various makes, models and ages brought in by the various car clubs, military vehicle clubs, motorcycles clubs and hot rod clubs.  We we have room for potentially hundreds of cars to be showcased.

Once again, our major sponsor is Capital City Ford and their relationship with this event is now a long standing one.  Since our last event Capital City Ford have expanded by opening another showroom and service centre – the new one is in Paraparaumu.

So, whilst our sponsor may be branded Ford our event is open to all makes.  And just because the organiser is the Vintage Car Club, you don’t have to be a member and you don’t have to turn up in a vintage car.  Everything and everyone is welcome.

Something to remind clubs about at this early stage… if you wish to display together, you’ll need to arrive together!  To Display together – Arrive together!  Please build that into your planning!
