Meet at the Tirau Domain carpark at 10.30. The entrance is off the roundabout where SH1 and SH5 meet, just south of Tirau. There are public toilets available there.

Take an easy 15 minute walk in the domain (weather permitting) that includes the Oraka suspension bridge opened in 2021 and views of the Pamela Castle. Head to Tirau for a short walk around the shops, and finish with lunch at the Cabbage Tree Cafe around 12.15.
