sugar plum cafe
This is the annual (well usually) tussle with Taranaki, Greater Wellington & occasionally Hawke’s Bay for the interclub trophy.
Won last year by Taranaki who will be organising it this year.
Meet at Sugar Plum, 3 High St Marton from 10.00 am for coffee; anticipate having all attendees had drink, chat, given observation drive sheet/s to start departing at 11.00 am.
Drive around the lower Rangitikei to arrive at The Rat Hole SH 3 Bulls (96 High St, Bulls). There is a parking area on left, just past the Black Bull statue. Arrive here around 12.30 pm.
NOTE – The Rat Hole stops taking orders at 1.30 pm .Always good food and plenty of space in dining area.
Please advise Club Captain Chris Butler (email@example.com or M: 021 506 199) if you are intending to attend so that the cafes can be forewarned of likely numbers.
P.S. Elspeth has warned/told Graeme me not to have the usual (expected) cryptic ones.- Heh heh. Maybe this means there will be new cryptic clues L
Always great day out and opportunity to visit and see interesting aspects of the area.
