| 9.45 am - 10.15 am | Early Birds assemble in the main street of Oakura (there is a variety of cafes in Oakura for those who wish to have tea/coffee). Late risers and travellers can join up as the group travels south and just before the 100km town exit sign turn right down Wairau Rd. At the T intersection at the bottom turn right onto Messenger Terrace. Park in the angle parks on the left if possible. |
| Arrive 10.20 am Leave 10.50 am | Oakura Arts Trail – Free entry to studios Four artists’ studios are within easy walking distance. Map of studio details attached. Choose two or three from this list: Lizzy McNaught – Inspired Art Design – 4 Mallinder Place. Brian Clark – Studio Harmonic Blue – 6 Mallinder Place. Margaret Scott – Art by the Sea – 58 Messenger Terrace. Rose Petterson – Wild Rose Design – 22 Dixon Street. Back to SH45 and turn right. Head south for 8km and turn left at Pitone Rd. Head 8km up to T intersection with Carrington Rd and turn left. Pukeiti is just over 2km along this winding rain forest road. |

| Arrive 11.30 am Lunch 12.30 pm Leave 1.30 pm | Pukeiti – 2290 Carrington Rd – Free entry Obtain a map at the entrance and spend an hour exploring the trails. One of the world’s biggest and most diverse collections of rhododendrons Lunch at the Rainforest Eatery (on-site at Pukeiti) and after lunch a further look around if time allows.Cabinet menu Breakfast and Lunch Menu |
| Proceed down Carrington Rd through the rain forest and farmland for 16.8km. Our next visit is on the right. |

| Arrive 1.50 pm Lave 2.20 pm | Hurworth Country Garden – 603 Carrington Rd - $5.00 p.p. |
| Continue down Carrington Rd/Street to round-about. Take 3rd exit onto Tarahua Rd. Take first turn right onto Junction Rd. Continue until it meets SH3. Turn left and continue for 3.1km and turn right onto Kent Road. Our next destination is 1.3km up Kent Rd on the right. |

| Head back down Kent Rd and turn right onto SH3. Continue for 8.1km into Inglewood and turn right into Miro St. After 550m turn left into Brookes St. Take next right turn into Maire Street. Our next destination is on the right near the end of the Street. |

| Arrive 3.20 pm | Windsor View – 46 Maire Street - $2.00 p.p. (car collection in shed) (refreshments and toilet available) Finish approximately 4.00 pm – depart for home. Safe Travelling |
